As part of that vision it is also dedicated to encouraging its customers to think about the energy they use, its cost and impact on the environment.
Initially 20 homes at Broughton Atterbury had an Electrisave installed (now rebranded as Owl), free of charge and a further 20 homes were used to form a control group.
Over a 6 month period, the trials have shown that the average electricity saving on the estate is 13.8 per cent, helping residents to reduce their electricity bills and help protect the environment.
